Say I want to download new eye colour or hair styles, or furniture etc
etc. Once I have unzipped it which files do I put them in for each type
of download? I am really confused. Thanks in advance.

You can only have subfolders for walls, floors and objects. Everything else
goes directly into your EA Games/Sims2/downloads folder located in your
documents folder.

Really? You mean just like Sims 1? I use to categorize my object
downloads by website, which really helped to track down "problem
objects" when my game crash. What about hacks, can they be placed in
subfolders or do they have to be in the main download folder?

Hacks can go into sub-folders, from what I know. I think only "skins" can't,
which I think would include eyes, makeup, skin tones, hair & things of that
nature.

put that? Because I cant see another folder called objects, walls or
floors?

All downloads go in the downloads folder (except for collections, but they
are rarer and usually contain instructions with the download on what to do
with the file). What BlueGenie2 meant was that you can make sub-folders
under the downloads folder for walls, floors and objects and still see them
in the game, whereas other downloads will not show up in the game if you put
them in sub-folders. So, in answer to your question, you can put your wall
anywhere under the downloads folder - even in a sub-folder called walls.

Always remember that it is stupid to not ask questions when you don't
understand something - and NOT visa versa.
